Greetings all - my first post.

I've got the old Hobbycraft CF-100 Mk. IV and the instructions are minimal, to say the least. I've got aftermarket decals to replace the horrible ones enclosed but I have a question about colours.

I'm pretty sure the cockpit was any colour you like, as long as it's black.

But what were the wheel wells? Aluminium or chromate of some sort?

Thank you in advance.

Found a picture for you here but it's still not that good. You can barely see the inside of one of the doors on the front wheel well in this one;

Thank you. It is helpful. It seems the wheel wells (doors anyway) are indeed some sort of zinc-chromate instead of the aluminium I was anticipating.
