Being the free thinking guy I am I must admit to a bit of a historical hiccup here. A Bf 109E pre 1935?

Hi folks!
This is my collection so far......yesssss! I've recieved the Royal Fokker Kit!!
Sorry about the bad quality of the picture, need to get a decent digital
camera at some point... But as you might see if you try really hard it's:
Roden's two S.E-5a's
Eduards Albatros D. V and Nieuport 17 Profipack's
I can only say that about the Royal Fokker's, what an amazing kit it is!!!
Still not calmed down from the shock with all the stuff stuffed into the box.
I thought that you'd get your "Blue Max" in a White or Black box, mine was Blue.
Oh well..... I guess that I need to get the appropiate German fighter pilot
uniform to go with my well and hard earned Pour le Mérite.
Anyone up for a fighter sweep after lunch?

Well, just call me the odd ball of this post then.... I'm not much into WW I aircraft, unless it's a red doghouse with a beagle sitting on top of it...

If I were to build something it would have to black I guess,,,the same colour as 99% of the lighting fixtures I use at work.
Of course,,there would be ropelights etc to highlight the profile, and a space for the most important piece of equipment in my workbox,,the hammock!
Only downside would be the length of cable required to plug into the dimmers,as If was to load an Avolites dimmerrack onboard it would never get off the ground :-)
Oh yes,,musnt forget the nice crest on the cowling!

Nige :-)

Could be fun to build a JASTA of our own with all our Crests on the fighters.....
Some colorful looking unit I'd think...

Penny Pierce; We are honoured to have you here. May we tempt you with a biplane? Possibly a Fokker D.VII? Or how about a monoplane? Fokker E.V / D.VIII? If your more inclined to allied powers then maybe the simple but elegant Nieuport 11, 16 or 17?

Greetings all;
Its after hours here in my office back in the corner of the Aeroscale hanagar #1. My desk lamp is a candle burning to the nub in an old tuna can. On the walls are maps and schedules for the coming year. Scheduling training classes and duty rosters ah the glory of paper pushing. Wait a second I have to sharpen my pencil again....this old Buck knife is the best thing my dad ever bought for me. I think my chair has about had it...well at least its better than that cabbage crate that was here when I first showed up. Too many splinters...
Checking my "to do" box I ran across this thread and with the voting for Air Campaign for 2007 subjects, I thought it might be a good idea to bring this up for a general re-read. My Batwoman has just deliverd my coffee and schnaps...and a plate full of munchies. Sandwiches, hershey bars, sweet grapes and oriole cookies. Wait a minute...she is wearing my best shirt and... Suddenly the night just got a bit happier.

What ho Stephen?
Almost forgot about this wee thread started a wee while back....
Just a general decal question here. How do you make your own decals? If you can't do them yourself, who can you turn to?
Tinkety tonk....

What ho she's no... Oh you mean hello... Ok on the homemade decals.
Take the image you want to make into a decal and a sheet of laser safe decal film to a copy shop. When you show the decal film company documentation to the employee proving that the film is laser safe all you have to do is explain to them exactly what size you want the finished images to be. Take one specifically and explain its size and the others will turn out in proportion. You will probably get more images than you will need on the whole laser safe sheet. Over spray these with a clear coat and use as needed.
