With so many kits of the "Zero" available, the Nakajima Ki-43 tends to get rather overlooked. To help balance things a little, here''s a look at Finemold''s rather nice late-model Hayabusa.

Hi Rowan
indeed a nice model although I think the Hasegawa Hayabusa is slightly better ....
Here is my FineMolds Ki 43 II early in the c&m of Shigeo Nango (15+ victories)
please excuse the quality of the build and the photos, both are about 6 years old
cheers

Hi Steffen
Nice build! I'd be interested to know if my predictions about the fit issues were on the mark...
I quite agree about the overall quality of Hasegawa's kit - it's a real beauty, but then it should be - remember it is a much more modern release. That said, Finemold's is still the only injected 'III available at the moment (I think)...
All the best

Hi Rowan
I cannot remember having fit poblems extending the normal cleanup .... the only real problem was selfmade, as I airbrushed the fuselage bands which I screwed up ...
best wishes
