G'day,

This Hasegawa 48 kit is enhanced a little but mostly OOB, it is based on the 'Catapault" launched birds of the RNFAA as this subject is the version that IS NOT fitted with the A frame arrester hook.

What I added to enhance this subject are:

BMF on the wing landing lights to replicate the reflector cone.
The fuselage upper clear kit beacon has been replaced with a small red {Artificial Jewlery} reflective piece.
The rearward tail light on the rudder has been replaces by another piece of {Articial Jewlery} reflective piece but in yellow.
The light in the centre of the wing trailing edge has been covered with a piece of BMF before fitting the clear lense piece.
The pilots rearview mirror has a gold glitter piece added to replicate a mirror face and the mirror is painted in the RAF Dark Green as a WHAT IF replacement item.

The enamels used on this subject are from the Humbrol range of RN colours and again the Tamiya XF-21 Sky undersurfaces, the decals are mixed from both AeroMaster and those supplied in the kit.
The wheel well is Alclad II 'Polished Alumium', where are the undercarriage legs and tailwheel are painted in Alclad II 'Alumium'.
