I want to use the WWI German Camo pattern using the six-sided blocks. Is there a way to print the pattern so that I can size it to my scale and then cut it into a stencil and spray the colors on? Or is there some site or software to put in the pattern and then print it out?
Suggestions?

Hi Jim
I do not think painting the stuff is practical. I am not sure what kind of camo you are looking for the German blue hexagonal maritime pattern or the austrian multicoloured stuff but I bet you can get both from after market suppliers.
The real expert here is Stephen ("JackFlash") so I bet you'll get a much more educated answer by him. Meanwhile you could check Americal/Gryphon Decals who have a lot of ww1 stuff and mayby also Blue Rider:
HMM I just checked my link list and the site seems to be gone. It was a site of Matt Bittner which you maybe can contact via Internet Modeler or VVS Modeling (maybe he is also a member here)
Edit: Ha, got it : http://members.cox.net/tbittners/AG/index.html
You can find Blue Rider here: http://www.insigniamag.com/
Hope you get some more hints
cheers

Hi Jim, I had a similar idea for my first WW I aircraft but, as the original camo was printed fabric decals are actually a better bet, in my opinion. See the Royal Fokker build and you will see what I mean.

Greetings all;
For WWI 4 or 5 colour "Lozenge" camoflage it depends on the scale your looking for. 1/72 to 1/48 I recommend Eagle Strike. Their colours are great. If your looking the one to one scale then a fellow named Ross Walton does the stuff for flying replicas and museum quality jobs. Other companies do this in various scales. Even for RC aircraft. What are you looking for?
