Academy 1:32 F-16C "Viper" Aggressor" near completion (!)

Well, after 4 months on the work bench (a veritable eternity for me) the Viper Aggressor is coming down to the wire...all that's left is the decoy and/or targeting pod(s)and the loadout ordinance. The only aftermarket item used was the exsquisite Black Box cockpit set and Two Bobs decals. The kit is relatively easy to build, save for the bigassed intake mouth. I spent close to a month on this alone, an hour or two a day getting it right.Never did quite get it seamless, but close enough for me. Hope you like it so far, I'll post more pics when it's loaded up. Cheers, JK

Wow…she looks super, nicely built. You say the kit went well together except around the mouth area. How did the Black Box cockpit fair, did it fit into the fuselage without problems. Again real nice, will we see her entered into the MOM for July.

Looks good! I've just started one of these for the duel in the sky campaign. Interesting to hear about the intake problem.

Thanks Fellas!! Joe, the BB cockpit fits pretty well, but like most of Jef's line (at least the ones I've used) there's a little minor surgery involved. Nothing some superglue and Milliput can't fill, though! Well worth the effort, too. The intakes' fit is not a "problem", per se, but I've got a compulsion about trying to attain seamlessness....probably never happen, but I'm gettin' closer!

Cheers,
JK
