Hi all
Just thought I'd post a few pics of the new Battle of Britain memorial in London. I went down there yesterday and decided to go and find it. Incredibly impressive it is too. If you ever get the chance then go and take a look.

The new memorial is fantastic Harri.
Great pics.
I havent had chance to see it personally yet but wil certainly do so the next time im in London.
I think it should be included in every school trip and sightseeing tour from now on,as there are far too many people who have no idea what the Battle Of Britain was or when it was fought.
Thanks for sharing these great photos Harri.

It certainly is an awe-inspiring sight. Even my 6 year old son was pretty gob-smacked by it. The easiest way to get to it is on the tube to Embankment. As you come out of the station you cross the road to the side of the Thames, turn right and walk about 500 yards towards the Houses of Parliament. You can't miss it.
It's well worth a visit.

Lovely stuff. It looks fantastic. Any more pics?
I'm surprised the PC crowd allowed it to be built.
Long live The Crabs! :-) :-) :-)
