Does anyone know of a model of the Convair R3Y-1? Not the Revell R3Y-2 with the flip up nose; that nose ruined the sleek lines of the plane. Thanks for your help.

According to Naval Fighters Number 34 by Steve Ginter. HBM made a 1/200 resin R3Y-2 and a XP5Y-1 conversion. From the small review the conversion seems very involved. I also don't know if this kit is still available.
