Hi All

My club mate Volker got a 3rd generation test shot of the new Revell Fw 200 C-8 ... I am not too enthusiastic about the kit but he found it ok:

what scale is that, steffen? even with the centimetres across the top of that cutting board i can't work out if its 1/72 or 1/48 (the condor is a big plane anyway!)

Judging by the pics using the back ground cutting board it looks like 1/72nd scale to me. #:-)

Of course it is 72nd scale, which is BTW the (a) wrong scale

the only true scale is 1/48 ... at least to me

cheers

when you have limited display space 1/72 is just fine! :-)
and heres another load of temptation for me to spend my cash on. i've always liked the condor, so i'll keep an eye out for this one

Hi Steffen

Many thanks for the early look at the kit! Is Revell's old '60s classic still lurking in there somewhere? It looks like all-new scribing at least. The fabric effect looks rather overdone and uneven, but perhaps that's just down to the kit still being at the test stage.

All the best

Revel has been iffy on the reissues of old stuff. One of their last kits i got was a "new" release, but was surprised to get raised panel lines and poor molding. The molding i think was fluke of nature, but the lines were a disapointment. though this one looks goood i'll have to wait to see when its out though.

Sorry Rowan,

I first missd your question. It is all new tool! Probably chinese ... I also do not like the corrugated iron wings .. but it is not "my" scale so I do not care too much

@ Stug III F: while you are right that Revell re-issues a bunch of old tool models, this one is new .. BTW some of the reissues are long awaited by "a few" modellers

cheers

Steffen
