1. Try a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol (Note: Scothc whiskey does not qualify as rubbing alcohol )
2. Try an alcohol prep pad, those little cotton squares used to clean a spot to give an injection. (Warning: Do not chew, this is not a an after dinner mint! #:-) )
3. Use some commercial polishing compound for plastics.
3. Try a flattened pieece of toothpick to gently rub the paint off.
4. If these fail, get a polishing set from the car model section of your favorite shop.
5. If all these fail, try to remove the canopy and vac/press form a new one from acetate.
6. Worst case scenario, hi thee to the hobby shop and buy a new kit, but most of these should solve your problem with acrylic paint.
Good luck and let me know if these work. :-)

I've tried WD40 on a Q-tip with limited success but I've used Windex to remove all the paint from a canopy. That should also work on a Q-tip. Of course you'll have to be real careful so as not to remove what you want to keep.
