Nope, I paint with a fine brush. Thanks by the way. A better macro is not nececary because my eyes aren't:} It is not that detailed. And I don't know why the underside turned out better. Anyways I'll try to finish it soon. Thanks again.

Finaly finished with a hell load of silvering in the decals and many more mistakes. But I won't touch it any further. Here it is:
Mostly OOB exept the gun barels and a little bir detail on the pilot.

Watch my six???? You see it in your dreams miss....Catch me if you can rookie!!! (Too much testesterone eh?)
Thanks Jean-Luc. I am relieved I finally could menage to finish something somehow. I really started to lose my self confidence.... I am working on the duel with Nezih now. I hope I menage to finish it too. And my He 162 against Emroglan is almost done but he is not able to finish his I guess...

Here comes the finished Tomcat:
This was my first attempt at post shading using pastel chalks and I have overdone it. I will control it better in my next trial. Although the pictures do not show clearly, there are many problems about the painting, too. Very tiny detail errors exist. I did not want to apply the decals for the names of the pilots on the canopy, because I will be scratchbuilding the canopy. I did not attach the missiles, as the Tomcat is in Miramar and the real picture shows none.
Thanks for watching us. Thanks you Jean-Luc for running such a wonderful campaign. This marks the end of our duel. Best regards.

Wow!! I am aplausing you by standing up. You did a superb job in my point of view...Looks really good. Don't worry about the weathering. Jets are dirty birds and Navy jets are even worse. Looks perfectly ok to me.
