Does anyone know of a review or info on the new 1/48 scale A-10A being put out by Italeri? My searches are coming up empty.

well, i haven't even heard it was a possible release! I am behind the times, but happy to hear of it (if it isn't a reboxing of the monogram one)

I believe its a re issue of the old Esci A-10 which was nice for its time but the mold is well out dated. the Monogram kit is more up to date ! But we still need a a better more accurate A-10.
A-10 model ranking goes like this for 1/48th scale.
#1---Monogram
#2---Tamiya( If you could find it)
#3---Esci
I'm not an expert on this subject but i think i'm close!

From what I heard a few months ago, it's going to be a re-tooled kit. Lets hope so. There is an ad in the July FSM Mag on pg 13

From personel experience I beleive the current Revell kit # 5521 has the best detail. Although it has it's own problems. Seams are a real problem. The Tamiya kit has good outside detail but is based on the prototype from the '70's. The ESCI kit is even more plain. The older monogram is unknown to me,but I hear it is pretty much the same as the current Revell one I talked about, just different decals. Looking forward to the Italeri kit.
