Hi all. This is the Airfix Spitfire MKI in 1:72. Built OOB apart from the dropped elevators.Some decals were used from the spares box to replace the badly out of register ones supplied with the kit.

This little Spit looks very nice. What did you use to paint it ? Enamels ? The dark earth looks a little clear and redish. Maybe the picture ? Did you cut the elevators and then drop them or are aftermarket ?

Thanks guys. This build was a lot of fun. Its sprayed in Tamiya acrylics and its the bright sunlight that has given the earth colour a tinge in the photos.Its definately dark brown The elevators are the kit ones,cut and dropped.
