Hi all.
This is the Airfix Spitfire MKI in 1:72. Built OOB apart from the dropped elevators. Some decals were used from the spares box to replace the badly out of register ones supplied with the kit.

Hi Nigel:

This little Spit looks very nice. What did you use to paint it ? Enamels ?
The dark earth looks a little clear and redish. Maybe the picture ?
Did you cut the elevators and then drop them or are aftermarket ?

Thanks guys.
This build was a lot of fun.
Its sprayed in Tamiya acrylics and its the bright sunlight that has given the earth colour a tinge in the photos. Its definately dark brown
The elevators are the kit ones, cut and dropped.
Theres a build article just been posted by Chuck.
