A little more progress on this subject, these pix are broken into 2 groups of 4 dealing with the cockpit and engine area's.
The instrument panel gauges have been painted silver on the reverse prior to fixing the matt black face plate, giving the impression of a more realistic panel. The switches and other dials highlighted on the instrument face plate and the sidewall switches and levers have been picked out by the use of a tooth pick, to apply the small amount of paint.
The compass has been painted silver on the base before gluing to it's mounting plate under the instrument panel.
The above pix show the engine installed as per the kit instructions but the extra detail to the engine has not been completed as yet.
The fuel cell is painted in the Humbrol #132 Satan Red.
