This is an in-progress photo of my 1/72 Sea Hornet by Special Hornet. It is a great kit.

Looking good Ross.
A nice neat build so far. How are you finding the Special Hobby kit?
Not exactly a shake and bake are they, but with a bit of extra care and plenty of dry runs they come together quite well I think.
The only comment I can really make on your Hornet at the moment is that its crying out to have some panels painted in different shades. I found the first time I did that it really bought the model to life and was well worth the extra masking. Its something I will do as a matter of course on all future NMF builds.

Nige,

It has been an interesting challenge. Should have probably picked a Tamiya kit to start back with a fter 5 years of no aircraft. It has been fun though. Just really need time and patience. Main problem with it is no locating pins so had to very careful when aligning everything.
