Back to the workbench and a chance to open the lid on my next build project - Eduard's 1/48 scale Bell Aircacobra Dual Combo. As you'd expect, two of everything means a big box, stuffed to the brim!
Decal options cover 3 aircraft from RAF 601 Sqn (strictly speaking 2 are marking variations of the same a/c) and no less than 4 Soviet machines. One of my family's friends when I was a child had actually flown the Airacobra during it's brief RAF service, so this build will be a personal tribute to him.
A Dual Combo kit! Can I really both a 601 Sqn a/c and one of the other options together? Andy managed a double-build with his superb L-39C Albatross Sisters. If I can follow his great example, I'll have definitely overcome my "builder's block"!
