REVIEW
Lockheed Hudson Mk IIIPosted: Sunday, August 20, 2006 - 04:19 PM UTC
After the review of the 1/72 scale Airfix Hudson written by Andy Brazier (betheyn), here is another one of his big 1/48 scale brother from Classic Airframes. The Airfix model is old but you can still find it everywhere. The CA kit is newer but sold out and nearly impossible to find now...

MPM have just released a 1/72 Hudson MkI/II (£15.25) and you can still get the CA 1/48 from Hannants for £7.25 (and then sell it for a profit on e-bay).

Hi Antoni!
I wasn't aware MPM did a new 1/72 scale Hudson kit. Thanks for the heads up! I'll change the review text a little.
As for a Classic Airframes Hudson for £7.25 at Hannants, well I'm afraid it's to good to be true. In fact these are seperate decal sheets for the kit, not the kit itself... doh!

Hi Steffen!
Now we write reviews for an Airfix and a Classic Airframes Hudson and we advertise for the MPM and Italeri kits as well! Isn't that wonderful! :-)
M. MPM and M. Italeri, could you send us review samples of your kits so we have the whole collection!

Hi jean-Luc
I did not want to misuse this thread. I'll remove the links in my former post ... I just wanted to let you see some pix of the sprues and boxes.
Also if the staff does not like that I post links to my site I will refrain from that in the future.
best wishes
Steffen

Whoops, wasn't paying close enough attention and didn't realise CA also produce decals. It s too good to be true.

Nice review Jean-Luc, and a great looking kit.
With all these Hudsons flying around we could have ourselves a group build :-) .
