Hi all:
Here are more pics of my Mossie in 1/72. Building process , paint job & decaling are finished. Now I have to paint the canopie and place in site the antenae wire.
The invasion stripes were airbrushed, I didnīt use the kit decals because they are very transparent. I think that the mate coat that I applied was too strong.
This kit is fun to build and really didnīt take so much work as I thought.
Coments will be very much appreciated.

Another nice clean build Carlos!
Looks great, and a very nice job on the invasion stripes.
At the time these were often brushed on with rough edges, but that just wouldnt look right on a model, and youve made a really neat job of them.
Looking forward to seeing this finished!

Looking good Carlos. A nice clean build so far. Definitely like to see it finished soon.
Is that another 2 unbuilt Mosquito boxes behind the pics? I notice there is a American one sporting a British tail sign !!!!

Hi Nigel & Andy, thanks for the kind words.
Mr. Surfacer 1200 helped a lot to achieve a clean and neat build, I recomend it, specially to be used in kits that need extra sanding work.
By now the kit is finished, I added some weathering and final touches. Iīll take some pics and post them here.
Nigel: I think the same of the invasion stripes, I like them airbrushed with neat edges on the models. The masking job gave me a lot of work, but the Tamiya masking tape works fine.
Andy: The first pic on the background belongs to the back cover of the Mosquito in Action from Squdron Signal Pub. and itīs a NF 30 which served with the 416 th Sqn. USAAF depicted as seen during the Battle of the Bulge. The second belongs to this Airfix kit and is a NF Mk XIX of No. 2 Sqn. Swedish Airforce.
Now Iīm finishing my entry for the Duel Campaign and this weekend Iīll start with a Mosquito NF Mk II (Airfix 1/72). My intention is to build lots of Mossies and Spits to make a huge collection.
I have lots of them in my stash and feel itīs time to start building them. They are the AC that I like the most
Regards.
