Hi Guy's,
at the moment i've been busy with my Phantom build.
My previous topic of this build was in Dutch language, but i wanted to change that to Englisch, so everybody could read this topic.
Iff somenone is interested in the previous topic, here it is :

Today, i restarted to rescribe the whole Phantom, after i primed the model, the panellines lost there depth, so rescribing was neccesary.
This is the model without rescribing:
And this is, the model after i rescribed the right fuselage half:
And a close up of the tail section :

Looks good so far Danny.
What kit is it?
Is it being built OOB or have you added anything to it?
I take it the grey colour is primer but what is the green colour on it?
Keep posting updates, as i would interested in seeing the build progress.
Andy

Hi Andy,
it's a Revell Germany Phantom FGR.Mk.2, 1/48 scale.
Indeed, the grey coat is a primer, and the yellow one to, the grey is Mr. surfacer 1200, the yellow is Motip primer, that come's in spraycans.
Mostly the kit is OOB, the only thing i added, are two ejection seats from Aires.
It's a great kit to build, some minor construction problems, but that keep's us alive, isn't it :-)

Hi Guy's,
here are some more progress pic's of the mighty beast.
Today i preshaded the whole Phantom, and the other thing's, like Fuel tank's, landing gears, canon pod, Sidewinder rails en pylons.
Now he's ready to receive fresh paint.
The whole stuff together.
And the bottom side

Hi Guy's,
Finally made it to the painting procces, beginning with the underside of the Phantom.
First pic, show's the underside.
Second pic, show's the stabelizers.
next, show's the two drop tank's, also they are painted in a two tone grey scheme.
next, show's the Suu-23/A gun pod, this is in the same color as the underside of the plane.
Last pic, show's the twin Sidewinder launching rails.
