This is my Airfix 1/72 TSR2. I ummed and ahhed for weeks over what markings to use, wanting an RAF one, but just a little bit different, but in the end went for the 45 Squadron markings off the Xtradecal sheet.
Not wishing to sound ungrateful, this isn't a very good model, and yet, like a mother forgets the pain of childbirth, I am already forgetting how un-fun this kit was to make. Hey, its a TSR2!!! And I'm already eyeing up the other 2 in my stash.
Now, where did I put those Saudi decals.....

Hi Neil.
Very nice build!
I had been wondering how long it would be before a TSR2 turned up
And we have 2 more to look forward to as well!
Looks great!

Great looking TSR 2 Neil.
How did it go together, and what is the detail like. Better yet why don't you submit an in-box review of it .
2 left to build, will one of them be in the white prototype scheme ?

Thanks guys.
Andy, fit is poor and detail is low The panel lines are very nicely engraved though. The best detail is in the undercarriage bays, but if you look at photos, most of the gear doors stay up when on the ground (a la F-15), so most of this detail is obscured.
But it is a TSR2 in 1/72!!
The other 2 will be Saudi in NMF and French in Tiger Stripes
