Things have been quiet on Australian aircraft, so I thought I'd post these;

Both 1:48. The Spitfire VIII is Hasegawa, the Ca-13 Boomerang is Kiwi Wings.

AWWWW look at the cute little dumpy thing. Usually you only see the mainstream aircraft carrying the Australian colours, nice to see something different.
Great models Jeff.

Love the 'Panic Fighter', want one of them myself.

I think they even have the remains of the cockpit from one of them at the air museum here.

Just for interest the real QE-Y, A46-174 was written off after a crash landing on Cape Gloucester airstrip in May 1944. There is a strong probability that components from the airframe are now flying as A46-165, a Boomerang which is flying or under restoration in the 'States.

I'm amazed at how many Boomerangs are flying once again.
http://boomerang-flight.com/index.htm has comments on flight characteristics. (under 'flying').
http://www.kiwiaircraftimages.com/boomer.html is well worth a visit.
