Hello!
I should like to ask you, if there is anybody with experience in building Heller's 1/72 DH Dragon Rapide. It is a bit simplistic kit , but I should like to know, if it is correct in shape or sizes? Additionally, could you propose some good online sources for reference photos or color profiles?
This would be my first biplane with full rigging. I know this is not the easiest to do, so any suggestions are welcome.
Thank you!

Hi Gábor
The only reference I´ve seen is an article in Scale aircraft modelling Volume 14 number 3 December 1981. It’s not a good one, but the only thing. As I recalled the kit it was good when Heller released it, I was just a kid at the time so it will certainly show its age by now. The only tip I can give you is to try to google on the machine.

Hi Gábor
I think there was something about the Dragon Rapide in Scale Models 20-odd years ago... I'll have a hunt through my old issues when I get a chance.
All the best
Rowan

Thank you guys.
The Google option brought some results. Though what I am still missing is a good interior photo. There is a surprisingly large number of airworthy Dragon Rapides operating today, therefore I could find quite a lot reference photos.
Still I have a question, do you think that the RAF Dragon Rapides had a different passenger compartment than the normal airliners (bench seats for example)? I should like to build a camouflaged DR.

Howdy Gabor,
Just so you didn't miss it, there are some dandy photos of the DR interior on the 2nd and 3rd pages of that link our good Repainted provided
And, just for the record, I too have the very same kit on my 'to-do' bench...so I thank you as well for the link Lars
......always liked that aircraft
