This is Magna Models, 1/48, resin and white metal Supermarine Attacker. A review of the kit can be found here. Tamiya and Xtracrylix paints were used.
I finally finished my Attacker after about a year of decaling . The decals were so old that as soon as they came into contact with the water they disintegrated. But recently i picked up a bottle of Liquid Decal Film, which i then brushed onto the decals, (while still on the backing sheet) it re-applies the carrier film making the decals usable.

Hi Andy
Wow! Nice build! It's great to see Magna Models' kit get a share of the limelight again after the CA kit's release.
Where did you get the Liquid Decal Film? It sounds like handy stuff for emergencies.
All the best

Thanks Rowan.
I must admit to being pretty pleased with myself for finishing it, as i thought it would stay in cold storage forever :-) .
The Liquid Decal Film i picked up from the model show in Doncaster, but Hannants do the same thing here.

Great build Andy!
Im really pleased you managed to sort out your decal issue and get this finished.Nice weathering,,very subtle.
I'll have to pick up some of this decal film from Little Cars at the next show.Looks like a must have for the tool box.
Whats next?
