Thanks for your vote’s guys and for following my request to keep the voting simple, it certainly helps me when toting up the results.
OK, here's how it went:

    betheyn(Hunter ) 8
    Wad_ware (Bf 109E) 30
    smithery (F4F-4) 5
    smithery (F104) 2
    lampie (Spit Mk1) 8
    wingman (Hs 129B-2) 11
    newtothegame (Spit Mk1) 20
    john17(Spit Mk1 Base) 13
    Holdfast (Mossie) 20
    CPTKelley (Corsair) 27
    brandydoguk (Corsair FAA) 24

The most number of 1st choice votes went to Wad_ware (Bf 109E) with 6 (18 points).
The most number of 2nd choice votes went to Wad_ware (Bf 109E), CPTKelley (Corsair) and brandydoguk (Corsair FFA) with 5 (10 points).
The most number of 3rd choice votes went to Holdfast (Mossie) and CPTKelley (Corsair) with 5 (5 points).

28 members cast their votes, 4 more than last month, but the turnout was only 11 again, the same as last month but 8 away from the record of 19, although 1 member entered 2 seperate models. No ladies again this time but we live in hope for the coming months, well done to everyone who entered. It was nice to see 3 Spitfires and 2 Corsairs.

Rest assured there were no bad models here so please don't be put off with entering again and remember you can enter a model up to 3 times. Well done all those that entered and thanks for the votes.

This was probably the most open MOM ever, shown by the number of first choice votes that the eventual winner actually got. Early on there wasn't much to decide between sveral members but the eventual winner pulled away gradually and the end result was very close.

The results, well done all:

1st Wad_ware Bf 109E Trop 30 points Winner of a Harricature of an Bf 109E Trop and the Skyraider, donated by Rowan (Merlin).

2nd CPTKelley Corsair 27 points.

3rd brandydoguk Corsair FFA 24 points.

CPTKelley had a 3rd last month and a 2nd this month, will it be a 1st place in September? Nice going James.

Congratulations to the winners, but also I extend congratulations to all who participated. There were some great looking birds this month, and I can only hope September produces even more of them.

Thanks to Mal for heading up the competition and taking the time to make it run smoothly. Thanks to Rowan for showing the true spirit of Aeroscale with his generous donation, and thanks to Harri for donating his one-of-a-kind Harricatures. Quite a prized possesion they are, to be sure.

Hi all and thanks to all for the votes,
I am very flattered and feel honored to have made 1st place out of such fine modeling competition.
Special thanks to Mal for running the voting thread so well, Rowan for donating the Skyraider kit, and Harri for what I am sure is going to be a fantastic 'Harricature'.

I am thrilled and thanks everyone,
Wayne

Yes the voting was close, very close, so I think that wayne deservse a pat on the back for coming out top on this one. I for one can't wait to see if James can get a first in September. I hope to be entering another new build but times pressing. I'm also lining up others to be able to enter new builds each month, it's a great way of getting the started stash reduced
Well done to all who took part.

Hi all!

Congratulations to all! But what were we thinking about by giving our votes to Wad_ware? Poor Harri, that Bf 109 in desert camo will be a hell of a pain to harricature!!! :-) I can't wait to see that!

James,
I hope that you have another good contender for this month as it will be interesting to see if you can win after a 3rd then a 2nd place, on consecutive months. I will be fighting hard though with another new build
