Hi Guys, I am looking to make a Rambo dio, can anyone tell me what type of helicopter was used in Rambo III?

You mean the Russian helicopter. It is not existed really. It is a French Puma modified to look like Mi-24.

Should be interesting, I heard it going to be titled- "Rambo-Geriatric Ward"

I don't know much about helicopters can you tell me what was actually done to modify it to a Mi-24?

Also does anyone know where I can get some pics of the helicaopter from Rambo III?

There's not much out there, hope this helps some.

The Puma has the wings/weapons pylons added to make it look like a Hind A. The troop doors on the sides are also modified so they split into upper and lower opening like a Hind as well. It is the same helo vis-mod that was used in Red Dawn.
