I need some help. I am interested in knowing what kits have been produced in 1/48 scale of TIger Meet planes. Mainly interested in F-16's or F-18s. Also, if any one makes decals of tiger meet planes. I am sure there are some experts out there that can help me on this one.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Rob, a quick search on the Hannants website turned up mainly decal sets for Tiger Meet aircraft.
For F-16 and F-18 aircraft i think you will have to buy a base kit and then aftermarket decals for it.
Here is the link , you should be able to find a more local retailer to supply you the decal sets.
Hope this helps.

Off the top of my head, OOTB that is, and in 1/48 I know of:
Airfix Tornado F-3 Italian Air Force in 1998 Tiger meet scheme
Italeri Mirage 2000
Revell F-16A "Tigermeet 98"
Revell F-15E Strike Eagle "Tigermeet 98"
And IIRC Hasegawa did a Belgian F-16 in a 'Tiger Meet’ scheme and also an upcoming(?) F-104 Starfighter.
There are also 1/48 scale decal sets of Tigermeet decals around for:
Monogram’s Hind
Airfix’s T-1A Hawk (74 Sqn)
Plenty of F-16s
Your best bet is to get the kit and then add Zotz decals. For Tigermeet stuff Zotz are usually best.

IMHO the best is:
Xtradecal set#X02648 ‘Mi-24 Hind D #4011 Czech AF 1994 Tiger Display Team’ for the Tigermeet decals

Almost forgot to mention. 4011 appeared in a Camouflage- and the famous White 20th Anniversary Livery. The Xtradecal set is for the White Livery and MPD/Mini Print Mi-24D Hind (1) 4011 Tiger Meet 1994 with shark mouth although aimed at the White can be converted to the Camouflage Display Scheme.
I don’t like the colours for the MPD set as they appear a bit too light. On the other hand, I’ve seen quite a few models of the Hind in White 20th Anniversary Livery and it is extremely difficult to get it just right.
Airliners.net has some great photos of both 4011 Liveries.
