Here is my Academy P-47D "razorback" in 1/72 scale. Decals went on alright due to extra gloss coat on the model. Nice kit, recommend it for anyone.

I suppose the real plane received a new cowling in some time or another? Or were you too lazy to apply the decals! :-) (just a joke! )

I can assure you he was too lazy!
Then again, with Academy decals, one must work very hard to get them to look this good.
And that it was photographed in a bathroom (mine--notice how nice and clean it is? )

Very nice work.
Those Academy P-47 are great kits. I have a couple of these in my stash.
This AC was 317 Th FS - 325 FG. The decal thatīs not on the left side of the cowling is a rectangle with something like a pantherīs head with an AC in itīs mouth.
