A couple of models appropriate to the 'Cold War', from an era when the RNZAF operated De Havilland Canada DHC 2 Beaver and DHC 3 Otters in Antarctica.

Gidday Rowen and Jan,
John had a lot of 'fun' with the Hobbycraft Otter, but, as you can see, the results are excellent. He's also built the Airfix Auster AOP 5(?) and, with extensive work, has converted it to yet another of the RNZAF's Antarctic aircraft , a Mk T.7, NZ1707.
