.
Hello fellows:
And this time .......... another Airfix 1/72 Mosquito.
Now a FB Mk XVIII "Tsetse". This bird has a 57 mm Molins gun under the nose and in this case two .303in machine guns in the nose. A this one some Mossies reduced the qty of MG to two to save weight.
I will buid it as PZ468 wearing the QM codes of No. 254 Sqn - 1945
Here is a pic of the original AC.

Hola Nigel:
It´s good to hear from you. Thank you
You´re right, I´m sufering of some kind of fanaticism with Mosquitoes. By now I´m thinking to continue building Mossies for a while (and Spitfires too ). Yesterday I received via Amazon the book "De havilland Mosquito" from Crowood Aviation Series (Martin W. Bowman). It´s great, I highly recomend it to everyone interested in this AC.
While finishing this Mk XVIII I´m starting with a FB Mk IV (Tamiya 1/72).
Did you see the pics of the finished NF II ?
Congratulations for your 1st place in the MOM September
Regards.

Hola
How did I miss that?,,well,,I know how I missed it because Im on tour at the moment and not really getting chance to log onto the site as much as I would like
The Osprey book on modelling the mosquito is a good read as well if you can get hold of it,and dont forget Ive got walkround photos of the Mossie in the RAF Museum at Hendon if you need anything
MoM,,,Thankyou!,,I still cant believe how my little camel turned into a record breaker!
