Hi guys, i'm working on a 1/32 scale P-40B and will like to cut out a section of the main fuselage along the panel lines to show the engine inside the engine compartment also at the same time, the panel that is cut out can be place back to the same section of the fuselage... how do i accomplish that? using what kind of tools?
I had experiment using a mini saw with about 1mm thick blade on an unwanted model but in the end, the 2 panel will not match back because the missing 1 mm of the joint turn to sawdust.
Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Allan:
Anytime I have to cut away plastic the way you are talking about doing it I use the tool below..
The blade is a thin wire( less than 1mm) small enough to fit in the panel line and use it as a cutting guide. It is the smallest saw b;ade I know of out there.
Good luck and hope this helped..
