Can anyone point me to extensive points of reference for the A6M2b. I am a newcomer to modelling pre 1990 aircraft sacrilage i know, i will be getting into it now i have the tamiya 1/32nd scale zero in my stash and seen what a beautiful aircraft it is. I have plans to purchase some trumpy 1/24 kits to go with it.

Hi Pete
I renamed your thread slightly, just to get people on the case early. Good luck with the build - and keep us posted on your progress.
All the best

Hello Pete,
Great choice in a Zero kit. I did a 1/32nd A6M5 from Tamiya and loved putting that one together. There are a few pics of that in my gallery if you are interested in checking them out.
Here is a link to a site that might interest and help you. It is a site for downloadable books and this place has a couple that I have downloaded on the Zeros. The downloads are fairly large if you don't have a high speed connection. This is the first page for the books. One of the Zero books is currently on page 37 and the other is on page 22. One is also written in Japanese but has some really good pics for reference.
Some of the books on this site you need to be a member to download but there are a lot of them anyone can download. Both of these books on the Zero you can download without joining up.

Hope these help and be sure to keep us posted with pics while you do your Zero.
