Hi all!

I found this while browsing on Hasegawa's official website...

After Eduard's Triple "Royal Class" kits, now we have boxes with 15 models!!! Any takers?

Collectors only I would have thought - Surely even the most avid fan of Zero's would get a bit fed up after 15 of them!

Still, it could be an interesting product for a group build

Maybe a modelling club could make some kind of lotery

Here is a picture of the packaging...

Pretty nice isn't it! but only three figures... that's not serious!

Hi Jean-Luc

It's "only" about £140 on HLJ - but watch out for the P&P...

I have to say, even a Stash-Meister like me isn't remotely tempted by this one! :-)

All the best

Bet I knew someone who would snatch it up, if it were Spitfires :-) :-)

I can understand it being a Japanese company but surely a more widely recieved set would have been a 15 set of Bf109's or even Spitfires due to their popularity and the many variations that these two aircraft had.

Still, I suppose that would be like asking Airfix (as was) to produce an anniversary set of Zero's or Monogram producing an anniversary set of Mig's.

That's almost CMDR David McCampbell's scoreboard after only two dogfights...9 during the Marianas Turkey Shoot and 5 during his first fight on June 19. During a second air battle in the afternoon he splashed two more--totaling more than are in this package!

Interesting that 20 of his 34 were killed in just 3 missions. IIRC, he had other multiple kill missions.

Imagine what he could have done on the Eastern Front against the VVS?

I think I would become very tired of making Zeros. After all they are not that different and the colour schemes are not that varied to my knowledge....

15 Zeros....not really my cup of tea.

That really is alot of Zero's. Nice planes but I don't think I'd want that amount to build. I'll leave that one. But nice for a collector I guess.

I couldn't agree more Doing one of thes sets for the 109 in particular could make a company some real money.
