Here a link to a sketch from a famous Dutch comedian from the 1970's. It's called "modelbouw", which means kitbuilding.

It almost made me wet my pants. At the end he is blaming the fish for moving too much in the water..

Hi Nico!
It is from the 1970's, the kit is a 1/72 Matchbox Mosquito!

Funny, very funny. :-)
While watching it, I not only saw a little of myself, but had visions of quite a few other members acting this way at times. :-) :-)
Now get honest, who's acted like that when the kit just didn't want to cooperate? :-) :-)

Like looking into a mirror. Back in the day I might have possibly, theoretically and so on, reacted like that..... :-)

Very funny clip.
In the early days of modelling fireworks were used on what didn't look like the boxart, not smashed up for a bin. Just blown up.

Wow,
that person was Wim de Bie. I can tell you that now that he doesn't have any hair anymore on his head, I now know why :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Oh man, that was me last night, except I don't have fish and the offending plane is still in one piece, at least the pieces already together are in one piece.
I was really happy with the wing attachement to the fuselage of my 109 (started with the upper sections for the first time, worked a treat) ...Then I realised I hadn't installed the radiator grills to the inside of the wing...

I have found that setting the offending model on fire while having the yet-to-be-built models gathered around is a great way to teach ALL involved a valuable lesson of who is in charge, and what happens to the "Mr. Models" who don't get themselves pulled together properly.
Peacefully yours,
