I have uploaded a news list for the first quarter Revell News I/2007
All in all a bit disappointing for me .. not a single 1/48 kit for the first quarter .... 3 for the whole year (all re-issues)
I left off the prices. We'll have to see how it will develope (sales tax in Germany will be raised a the beginnig of next year, which is probably included in the prices given).
cheers
Steffen

Hmm, not exactly a lot to get the mouth watering......with the exception of the Bf109K-4 in 1/32 - very dissapointing!
We can only hope that they have some nice new items lined up later in the year. I would love to see the Me410 re-released.

Hi Lee
Better do not bet on Revell.
there might be chance it is comming from another company (AccMin) .... or Revell USA (I do not know what they will release)
cheers

Hi Steffen,
I believe the Me410 was originaly a Pro-modeller kit which is why it fell into the hands of Monogram and then Revell. Those pro-modeller kits were truly outstanding and I'm waiting to build an Bf110G-4 by them. I dont feel my skills are up to it just yet and its the only one I have so I really want to do a great job of it.
There must still be plenty of Me410's about though because I sell a lot of Me410 resin sets from Aires in my shop!
I guess people are just hoarding them :-) :-)

Hi Lee
Pro Modeller never was a company but just a "high end" brand of Revellogram (then) .. now after several reconstructions of the company(ies) Revell USA and Revell Germany still have access to their common mold pool (e.g. see my news list)
and
AccMin already has issued the Helldiver .. so there is a chance you might see the Me 410 from them (I know for sure there was interest in doing so)
Will you try to do your Bf 110 G-4 with the Cutting Edge Engine Bulges set and other AM stuff? If not, it is just a kit like any other! Build it and have fun!
best wishes
Steffen

I'm thinking about using the Aires cockpit set and perhaps the eduard exterior set but I'm not sure about the cutting edge set yet as it looks a bit complex and at £20 (OK, I can get it for £13) its a bit expensive.
You do mean this set dont you -

Hi Lee
re the 110: it will be a little complex with so much AM stuff involved
I made on attempt "some" years ago and I have a suggestion ... thin the side walls before you glue in the Aires cockpit (dryfit often!) ... I glued mine in the right half, only to find out the other half will not fit ... lots of swearing and cursing ... project still unfinished in the box as the CE engines came out then.
Also I have G-2, also still unfinished (but advanced) OOB ... Maybe it finds a way on the to do pile somehow .. at the moment I have far too much projects in the pipe ... must finish some
and yes I mean exactly that set ... faar too expensive so I bought only one which someday will decorate my model of Schnauffer's a/c ...
Here is a teaser for your Me 410 project (click):
best wishes

Nice, it really is a lovely looking plane........almost as nice as the Mossy :-) :-) :-)
I also have a desire to build the G-2 but I just have to do that with the CMK Bf110G-2/R-1 conversion.
Thanks for the tip re the Aires cockpit Steffen.
