As you can tell, I've been digging around some of my old 1/72 scale aircraft. Does anyone remember building this old kit? I ran across a box in my garage with quite a few old Matchbox kits in it and the B-17 piqued my interest.

Hi General ,
Yes I still remember My first Model - B-17 from Matchbox , now she is 15 years old , still in good shape . Very nice , simple model for 0-99 Years old Modelers .
As always , very deep engraved panel lines ( like Matchbox ) , nice quality of decals ( most for planes from 8 th Army ) , pilots figures ; version of plane B-17G .
This plane have special place in My colection , My Father bought me this model when he was at West Germany on busines trip ( Warsaw Pact Time ) so it remembers Me about this time.
Best Regards

Hi Sabot
I don't remember the B-17, but those 3 color matchbox kits where the first models i built many moons ago. I have wanted to go back and compare those old kits to todays offerings, see if they are as good as I remember. Were they really only 1/72?? I guess my hands were smaller and my eyes were better then.
