Hello guys, just thought that I would drop you a line from the IPMS-UK Kitmaker stand "internet cafe" here at Scale Modelworld in Telford.
The show starts tomorrow and we're looking good, just waiting for the members to arrive to add their models to the stand Jim has been here today and it was great to meet him at last.
Got to go as I've just been asked to close down for the night.

Hi all,

A good time is being had by all. It's 17.45, and the event is about to close for today. Just a few shots of the Kitmaker Stand, and the 'internet cafe'

More tomorrow.

Cheers

I find this very scary! I've seen Mal's photo in his profile... he looks about 23 years old! These pics must be fakes... who's that bloke wearing the "Holdfast" T-Shirt!? :-)

I hope you've all had a great day! I tried to pull a stunt and make an unannounced appearance, but ended up back in front of an Avid, clearing the decks ready for Monday. Tomorrow's a no-no by public transport, but I'll try to get some new Content uploaded to keep you entertained if the Show gets too dull! :-)

Have fun!

Hi there

A great time was had at the show and on the stand today. I must thank, in no particular order Holdfast, lampie, bethyn, yoghurt, henk, docdios, barv and teacher for making a relatively new member feel very welcome - and thanks for the coffee and cake.

It was great to be able to shake Jim by the hand to say thanks in person for this wonderful resource he has enabled us to share.

Thanks again for today guys. Hope the day goes well tomorrow.

See you all at Milton Keynes

And I always thought he's got some hair under his beret!

A crisp early morning, the sun shines, and another beautifull day starts.

One vendor hall. There is one more hall like this, and the same for our stand. Oh, and the competition... :-) .

These are some of the Comp entries, as a taster.

Wish you were here....

Cheers

What made you think that I would post a picture in my profile of me now? I'm actually 30 in the photo and I'm still "young looking", and no Jean-Luc there isn't any hair under the beret

Having a great time here, met some new guys and talked to Smaantha's (Camogirl) cadets, one has signed up and I beleive that a few more will as well. So look out for them in the forums. Put a few more faces to names and have had a really positive response to the the sites. beeing able to have a chat with Jim has also been great.

The guys have just reminded me about the voting thread for the MOM, but I'm too busy just at the moment, talking to "punters" to be able to do it. I'll do it soonest.
