Hi guys.
At the Telford show I was flicking through one of Mals magazines and I would really like to get hold of a copy.
Does anyone have a copy of
Fine Scale Modeller
Special Issue
Warbird Modelling
Battle Of Britain
Dated July 2005, that they would be willing to part with?
The main cover picture is of a Tamiya MkI Spit.
There is one particular article that Mal is going to scan for me (when he remembers :-) ),but I would really like the magazine itself.
Heres hoping!

Nige,
I am 90% sure I have it at home. If I do, it's yours. I'll check tonight and get back to you.

Nige, let me know if you still need the scans, (in case Leon decides he's better off flogging the mag on evilbay, for instance)

Hi Guys!
Andy,,thanks for the link, and Leon,,thankyou for your generous offer!
Dont knock yourself out searching for it,but if you do find you have it I will be more than happy to give it a good home.
I bought the Aires super detail set for the Tamiya Spit at Telford and there is a fabulous build article in there.Probably a bit out of my league but Im up for a challenge as you all know :-)
If next year all goes to plan I will be in the States for a few weeks and if I find myself anywhere near your neck of the woods Leon the beers are on me for sure!

Yep. I have it and will try to get it out tomorrow. I pm'ed you to make sure I have your address correct. And as for you being up for the challenge or the detail set being out of your league: I'd bet money on you being up for the challenge; you seem to fear nothing and always build very well. I salute that and hope the article gives you some great advice and help.

Hi Leon.
What a star!
Ive answered your PM,,note the change of address.
Its certainly going to be a challenge. You seem to have more confidence in my abilities that I do :-)
At least when I get around to starting the project I will be in my new house with a dedicated model room. Bright lights over the workbench and a good magnifier!,,no more bulding at the kitchen table for me soon I hope!
Thanks a million.
