Great airbrush work on the camo Les. I definitely have to practice.
Superbly photographed as well. I always think the B+W photos are really lifelike.

Les that's a fantastic looking model and I love the camo scheme, great work
I agree with Andy the B&W photos really look great particularly the last one which looks very realistic.
Cheers

Thanks very much Andy and Darren!
I nearly have as much fun taking pictures of my models as I do building them.

Super work with the airbrush! It looks really good.
I am very impressed by your little airfield. It looks great to see the airplane in a realistic setting.
Do you have a whole airfield with hangars etc. build up?

Thanks for the comments Jesper and JollyRoger!
Jesper,
My base is made from scraps of plywood I bought at a local lumberyard and they are covered with model RR grass. The hangers are not glued on the base to make storage of my photobase easier. One hanger is scratch built from a balsa wood framwork and covered with plastic sheet, the other hanger is made from a kit from Faller.
I have painted a backdrop to use with my photobase but also use model RR backdrops in many of my pictures.
JollyRoger,
I really like those PM kits and look forward to buying more of them. The PM kit of the Ta 183 is a favorite of mine and I have built two of them and have three more of them in my stash.
However there is one kit made by PM that should be avoided...the Ta 154! It was a bad kit with many things wrong with it mainly dealing with the poorly fitting kit parts. I spent a huge amount of time puttying and sanding that model and after all that work it did not look very good.
Here is what I am working on now...the 1/32 scale Hasegawa Bf 109G-14

Thank you very much Tuomas!
The Hasegawa Bf 109 kit is very nice, one of the best I have ever built and recommend this kit to any 109 fan.
The only weak point in this kit (and all Hasegawa kits) is the decals, the areas that are supposed to be white are not really white but more of an off-white.

This is a great project. The aircraft is wonderfully done.
I absolutely love what you did in the diorama. The composition or figures, vehicles, buildings etc is great. The end result photography is top notch. The 3rd one is great.

Thanks Scott!
I look at many pictures of German airfields and I try to copy the background clutter I often see on those pictures of busy airdromes.
Over the winter I will be building some of the Tamiya kits of the ground support equipment and the 1/72 scale Academy Opel Blitz fuel trucks...these should make my pictures a little more realistic looking.

Thank you Jan!
Just wait until you see next years pictures, I am working on some new ideas that might make my pictures look more like the real thing.
