I finally found one of my 2 favorite airplanes. A Sikorsky S-38. It's in 1/72 and all resin. (It was kinda pricey but it's the only one I've seen) My question is: Are there any special techniques necessary for resin, such as adhesives, paint etc? I've never built a resin kit before.
If I knew how, I'd post pictures.

Steve
Make sure you wash all the release agent off before even thinking about painting.
CA or 2 part epoxy glue is the best choice for sticking it together. I prefer CA glue. Wear a mask when sanding - resin dust is not that nice.
Take your time doing it and dry fit everything first.
Hope this helps

Use a base coat when painting to make sure the paint does not "slip" later.
