I'm still hanging around but in modeling limbo. With winter officially moving in yesterday with cold and 11 inches of snow, my workbench out in the garage is going to be unused for a while. I never did quite get my P-47 finished and looks like that is going to be a while longer now. sob ..sniff,sniff, sob.sob.

ironicly, being temporarily camera-less i spent today building a kit, as opposed to building a little bit, taking a pic, posting it here, replying to a few more threads........
although everytime i check back here for "just a quick look" its still a half hour minimum visit!

Well the reason that I'm quite is that I'm not building I haven't done anything since before the begining of September. I actually can't get to my modelling bench or my spray booth, at the moment, either, so that doesn't help. Add to that the fact that with my eldest daughter moving out there's going to be a bit of room shuffling going on. Unfurtunately that can't happen until after Christmas as SWMBO has invited half the country to Christmas dinner and about 50% will be staying over
So it looks like no modelling until well into the new year

Hi Nigel!
Yes, I also noticed Aeroscale is quieter since a few weeks... must be the winter season. I hope that with the new campaigns and the new year, things will get back to normal. I know some members are very busy (you included) so a choice must be made: posting on forums or building some models. I choosed to post less to keep a minimum of modelling time for myself.

Hi Nige
I'm afraid work is the culprit in my case and I'm unlikely to be able to spend any time to speak of on Aeroscale until after the New Year. I'm making the most of a day off today, because it looks likely to be the only one I'll have before Christmas to meet the deadline for a documentary.
All the best
Rowan

Ironicly, I shut down my contract model building at this time of year [for 3 months anyway, to concentrate souly on my own model subjects], outside the workshop the managirial tasks never stop, so there is always something diffent to be done.

Hi all... SFX sounds of Flitzer climbing out of the woodwork
Yes it is a bit "placid".
In fact I have not built or even looked at a model since Project X.
Well I did build a few for that....
But I have the perfect excuse....lol...
All my stash...every little bit of it, is in UK and I'm back in Saudi .
So I keep myself "amused" by doing the ole profiles.
And there's a lot more planned....
Hey Mal....we're sweating on you starting building again...especially those Ta183's...
Take care lads,
I'm sure things will pick up. After all, many here will be itching to get cracking on all those imminent Chrizzy presents.
Cheers
Peter

I know what you mean it has been slow. I am as guilty as anyone and the excuse is work. We have just had OFSTED at my College, for the non - British amongst us OFSTED is our education inspectorate, and the fall out from that has been huge and my time has gone elsewher. Hopefully that will change soon.
