Greeetings Jan;
It depends on what your looking for. I Highly recommend a long term subscriptions to either,
Cross & Cockade Intl. Go to... http://www.crossandcockade.com/
Over the Front go to... http://www.overthefront.com/
WWI Aero go to... http://www.aviation-history.com/ww1aero.htm
Some very knowlegable people contribute to these magazines. For anyone "serious" about studying all venues and aspects of WWI aviation these magazines have had it, do have it or will have it.
As has been mentioned anything by,
Albatros pub. R.Rimell publisher. Greg VanWyngarden, Pete Grosz, J. M. Bruce, Colin Owers,
Grub Street, Norman Franks, Rick Duiven
Schiffer, Rick Duiven, Dan San Abbott
Any titles with these names will be worthwhile. Good Hunting.

The first book is the best book written on Boelcke and contains the majority of the letters he wrote home from the front to his family 1914-1916. This was first published in the early thirties and reads almost like a memoir. Though many books of this timeera were use for the propaganda machine of the day (1930's.)
I also suggest ;

The other is also a reprint of the book "The Red Knight of Germany" written during WWI it weas purported to be the autobiography of Ritt. Manfred von Richthofen. While he provided notes and comments much of it was edited heavily before publication. There are better book on this subject but it was where many started their studies.
