Hi All.
This will be my "workbench" thread.
Im in the middle of buying a house and the second bedroom will become a dedicated model room.
So until I move in,Im resigned to doing what modelling I can while on the road..
Because touring an aircraft kit is totally inpractical,Ive made a start on the Luftwaffe piot I picked up at the Telford show.
Watch this thread to see how my model room develops over the next few months, but for now,my workbench is the 4th drawer down in my roadcase.
And you think "your" short of space! :-)

The figure will remain my "at work" build.
Projects due to begin when I get (a) home are,
Tamiya P47 Razorback
Revell Fokker Triplane
Airfix Tiger Moth
All in 1:72

Hi Nige:

WhoŽs the soccer player in the background pic ? Do you enjoy soccer ?
If you want I can send you a pic of one famous Argentine ex soccerplayer :-) Now getting serious...
IŽll follow the development of your workbench, to have a hole room for medelling is one of my wishes, youŽll be lucky having one

Your idea of the Workbench thread is great, IŽll take some pics of mine and post them.

Regards.

Yes,,its going to be great having a dedicated modelling room.
I will show how it progresses as part of this thread.
Carlos,,the footballer is Kevin Keegan.Im not a football fan but it was stuck on there by someone who thinks I look a bit like him.Personally,,I think they need their eyesight checking.

You'd look great with a lovely soft 1980's bubble perm!! - not a bit like KK though.

I know what it's like Nige.

I've just moved from Germany back to Scotland and half my stash is still in boxes. My compressor has been banned to the garden shed by SWMBO.

I wish I had my German cellar back. It was great for modelling.

i've seen nigels "mobile home" in action, and i think it might be a little hard to concentrate on painting a figure in the middle of a rock concert! on the subject of workbenches i bought Ł50 worth of flooring with the idea of planking out my loft and making it into a model room (thats office if anyone from the i.r. is reading this)

Nige.

Neet setup, for a portable workbench. When the 'new' workshop becomes available in the near future, alterations and additions will be a major development over the years.

My current set up is the 4th modification so far and when I move to another premisses next year a shed 30' x 15' will be the 5th and last workshop setup I'll venture into.
