Ahoy mates! I'm in the middle of building a 1/700 USS Hornet, Essex class, during late 1944. Did the Hellcat still wear the 3 color camo like the Avenger and Helldiver or were they solid blue? My F6F book doesn't say when they changed over.

The Hellcat as this time wre most likely solid blue, with Avengers and Helldivers in the 3-tone scheme.
