Do YOU REALLY WANT MY OPINION ?? Well Just remember YOU ASKED FOR IT...........
BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO...Not too shabby ...The question is DO YOU LIKE IT ?? Did it come out the way you envisioned it. ?As for an airbrush, You would be suprised just how little they do cost. Even a basic one can be had for around 50 Dollars and less. Enough to get you better quality looks. BUT for now. It looks as if you did a pretty nice job. Did you have any problems with it. I have a Monogram Kit. And started work on it only to run into a problem with the Cowling Gun Mounts. Which is going to need some major work done to it. So I have put that off for a little while. Meanwhile....Once Again... Good Job. Keep it up. You will get better with each new project.

Looks dang good to me. Especially considering it's brush painted. Very nice.
I only see 2 questionable areas. The left landing gear looks crooked (I got a P51 with that problem on my shelf), but it could just be camera angle. And it looks like you weathered the trailing edge of 2 of the prop blades and the leading edge of 1. Is that intentional? a trick of the camera?
Great job, though. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Hi Dolf ,
For a plane that is brush painted it's very good. The first point is like Dagger-1 says do you like it, I certainly like the scheme. To improve mmmm I think the main thing you could improve is the wing seam (pic 4) it's a difficult area around the guns but a Flex-E file works wonders. A couple of really nit picky points, and I shouldn't worry at all about them, just file 'em away for future thoughts: Wheel wells look a bit dark, could just be the lighting, they would be RLM 02. The other point and I'm not at all certain about this, but if I'm right has a knock on affect. The step, when it's pulled down, might open the canopy. If it does then the antena wire would, on some, FW 190s be slack.
Thanks for sharing the pics, I don't have an F8 but I now quite fancy this scheme.
Do you have any more pics? love to see them. :-)
Good work nice to see more aircraft on here :-)
Mal :-)

Hi Dolf
I really like that camo scheme, it is very FUNKY!! It must have taken forever. Is the 109G in the background of your pictures your next project?? GOOD WORK, can't wait to see the next camo job you do!

Very nice. To do that camo job with a brush is great.
Cameras can do funny things and I can't tell if its camera or what. You may want to dirty up the wheels a bit.
The main thing is, as dagger-1 pointed out - "Do you like it?" does it meet your expectations for that particular build. Just store the feedback in a file to pull out at a later
date.
Promising solid work - can't wait to see your next one.

Thanks everyone,
To answer the question "Do i like it?": Well, yes, i certainly do ! Its not a perfect built and the paint job can be improved, but hey, as you guys said, ill get better with each project. Atm, im very pleased with the results.

Hehe, both trailing and leading edges of all 3 blades have slight weathering. Strangely enough it doesnt show on the picture (probably the lighting).

Yup, you got that right, the 109G is, or actually was (lol) my next project. It turned out to be a complete failure (terrible fit of some parts), so now its one of my "practice" models

Nice build especially since you didn't use an AB. You cannot see the brush marks, but I guess you would closer up?
I agrre with getting a flex-i-file, for those rounded shapes. It is difficult, but a very good job........thanks for the pictures

That's what I figured. It's too nice of a job to have an error such as that on it. Again, good job.

I would love to see what you could do with an Airbrush! :-)
One comment, I am no aircraft expert but the seam lines where the two halves of the wing attach, are they supposed to be visible?
Nice looking FW,
Andrew

One More suggestion, In the wheel well, Use some Silver paint and do some dry brushing to show the weathering in that region, i.e. Wheels being opened and closed. And that is all that I can think of right now.
