Okay guys I am in need of help from the knowledgeable people here, basically after inheriting my fathers huge collection of kits I have come across something that has left me stumped, I've googled and whatevered and came up empty-handed, the kit in question is of Russian origin of the Westland Wyvern, it comes in a plastic bag with header card ala early Airfix. The header card has a colour picture of the aircraft about to launch covering approx three quarters of the front side, the remainder is red with a logo of a cobra coming out of the top of a square box in black near the bottom. I have attached some pics to hopefully clarify matters....





Basically what I'm after is who made this kit, how old is it and is it worth anything?

The only 1/72 injection kit of the Wyvern that I know of is the old Frog boxing.Maybe it`s that one the picture looks familiar.

I`m back just googled Frog Westland Wyvern, found one on E bay same photo on box.

Thanks Dennis, following some further research it appears to be a post Frog copy, as far as I can tell most of Frogs old moulds were sold to various companies in Russia and this is one of those.
In comparison to the Frog box top, this header card is of a much lower resolution, almost like a bad colour photocopy.

Novo had most of the old Frog moulds, but the Wyvern was rumoured to have been lost - this is the first time I've seen it repackaged like this. Probably not worth a lot although it fetches good prices in the original Frog boxing, but one of their best kits so why not build it!
