Hi,
I would like to present my first step working on PWS 33 Wyzel (1/48) (Wyzel in english means setter, pointer). The model is resin from Ardpol with some small modification (open engine section). Unfortunately there was only two built plane upto 1939 therefor is vary hard to find documentation. The best one is "Wydawnictwo Militaria" (number 6 - author A. Glass). What is interesting in flight museum in Cracow is presented engine Major 4 ( Polish Aviation Museum - Cracow.

Hi Marek!
This looks very nice so far. A PWS 33 Wyzel! Never heard of that bird! I'm looking forward to see it finished. Any chance you will include this one in a diorama like your superb PZL P.11?
Are those canopy made of Photo etched frames?

Hi Jean-Luc,
I have good news, yes - I would like to add small diorama for PWS 33. I think that it will be in the same dimension as PZL 11C (24x24cm). One pilot standing and one mechanic working, fixing the engine (Major 4), plus some other stuff like armo box, and fuel barrels ;-)
The modele are nearly out of the box. As I wrote in previous message it's very hard with documentation. The Major 4 engine is good presented here it's why I decidet to open it.
Conopy - as I understend you ask me about metal cover of "glass". Orginaly it's vacu formed, so I made conopy by myself from very thin pice of aluminium. The rivets are made using rack from old clock. By the way I used the same racks to create rivet prints on the wing and other plane parts surfaces.
PS:> The kit is presented ARDPOL kit
