Hi. Just wanted to post some pics of some old dios that I shot with a new lens that I just purchased. I used a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 Macro lens with a Nikon D70S body. This lens keeps a large aperture[f2.8] through the entire zoom range. On some zoom lenses, the aperture closes up when you zoom in close to your subject and you have to use longer shutter speeds to let in more light. The Stuka is from Hasegawa and the Corsair is from Tamiya.Merry Christmas to everyone and have a safe and wonderful New Year, thanks for looking, Wingman out.

Great photos!
The Stuka did very well in the MoM if memory serves me correctly.
I seem to remember seeing a photo of a dio of P47's taxiing out on a mission, any chance of some photos of that?

Hi guys, thanks for looking. Nigel, I'll try to take some of the Wolfpack dio soon. I took these pics this past Saturday outside, it was about 60 degrees and sunny, this is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast part of the country where it should be in the 30's right now, can't complain.I couldn't resist taking some pics. Wingman out.

Hi Carlos, thanks. They were taken in very bright sun. I should have used a reflector to lighten up the shadow areas so they aren't so harsh. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, thanks for looking, Wingman out.
