This model is a 1/48 scale EF-111 RAVEN. The kit is OOB made by a company called ZHENGDEFU. I've not made one of their models before or even heard of them.
I used the model to try out some methods I had read about on the site. All in all it was fairly simple to build. I had a go a detailing the cockpit myself but it doesn't look very good hence no photo. The canopy was too small for the model by about 3mm which didn't help the finish. Also the decals are rubbish and have no detail on them so if you buy one of these models get some other decals.
I tried having a go at undershading. I used a dark green then painted the brown and finally the lighter green for the camo pattern. I know RAVEN's are nomally shades of grey but I got bored with grey models and fancied a bit of colour so took a pattern from an F-111. This was also my first use of KLEAR. I'm slowly learning from my mistakes but still rushing my models.
But still lots of fun. Please leave your comments good or bad I don't care.
