Back at this again folks. I just passed on some information to Tom Harrison of Tom's Modelworks (who is doing the brass for this kit.) He was looking for photoetch "how to" diagrams for a Cooper bomb rack . I happen to have the Fotocut instructions for their original 1/72 & 1/48 set.
I can give you a bit of a teaser now. I will be doing a photoetch seminar here during 2007. It should cover beau coup matters of Aeromodeling.

Hey Stephen,
How about going the whole hog and making that seminar include how to make your own photo etch... I have all the gear required to do so at home, but have not yet had the intestinal fortitude to try it.
Cheers,
Hugh

"Steely Eyed"...? Me?
Nup. Just an average modeller with ambitions which at this point are a little beyond my abilities...
But, practice makes perfection (As I keep trying to tell my wife) and who knows what one is capable of until one tries.
In any case, where else can we hope to get a set of photo etch for scarff rings or Lewis gun fittings in 1/32 or 1/24 unless we make it our selves.
Is PART of Poland listing in do you think? I'd buy a set... or three...
Cheers,
Hugh

Hi all
i have dropped Parts an mail and asked if they is willining to blow up the lovley 48 sheet they have, but not got any answer, so for now nothing new on that area.
hopfully Mastercasters pieces are going to fit on the model ( still have to order then). My biggest concern is the wingarea with these wires/pulleys. Thats a messy work belive me.....

Geuss what just dropped in my lap . . . Egadzooks! It is another 1/32 Roden kit. Since everyone out there is probably doing C1149, I may just have to do F.8005 from the 25th Aero squadron of the AEF. Here I am with two 1/48 scale versions on the workbench. I love this engine. I just wish it came in 1/48 scale.

Everyone seems to be doing the red fuselage. I have an affinity for the 25th Aero so well see.

Then from the base of your brain comes the still quiet voice. . . Use the force Murdo relax, let the build flow through you. Don't fight the feeling. Build it, build it!
