Hi all.
Does anyone have any idea when this will be released?
At SMW the guys on the Revell stand said January, but it wasnt on the recently posted Revell releases list.
Hannants still show it as a future release.
Product number is RV4712

Hi Nige
The short answer is "No".
But, once the kit's been out for a little while, keep an eye on ModelZone - they often have Revell kits (in particular) at less than 1/2 price...
All the best

Nigel!
Eduard has a PE set for turnbuckles, control horns etc. in 1/48. The parts are definitely too big for that scale, but several people have noticed that they are just about right for 1/32!
The problem with PE turnbuckles is, of course, taht they are flat. Real things were 3D.

Flat turnbuckles can be thickened with PVA...Elmers school glue. Wait a minute this is biplane stuff...

One small detail, for anyone planning to do the floatplane version; if you're doing the red one, the bracing wires were painted red, as well.

Wot? All in 1/32nd?
Is it a Gunbeau or a Torpedo job? I assume this is the old Revell one with the raised panel lines?

Now, now, you're exhibiting your prejudices, but, yes, it's the Mk.1, nightfighter. MDC will be doing a full interior, later this year, and it's worth finding the old articles, in Scale Models, if you can. And, yes, they're all 1/32nd; I think (and that's emphasised) that the Lysander was there, too, but check first.

Ah ah! Can't accuse me of prejudice when I have this:
I just need to get it painted.

:-) :-) :-) :-) No worries Edgar.
I bored out the area underneath and made gun barrels from wood. I'll show some pics at some point. I really would like to add a torpedo to this lovely aircraft... Raised panel lines or not.
I might have to go and buy another. It really is a monster!

Your not kidding Mal, you couldn't stop drooling all afternoon once you saw them :-) And our very own Sam (Camogirl) GAVE him the kit so he could make the masters. so in theory shes even had a helping hand in the production.

Yep and of course there was the 1/32 Tempest and Hurricane fabric wing, absolutely stunning stuff
I was having some lessons in scratch building as well

I can't wait to retire and get stuck into all my 1/24 Airfix stuff.
